I just bought now 2 portions of large cod, 2 portions of small chips, and 3 tartare sos. Just wanted to say how huge the portions are and the chips is the best ever I have. Not sure if they are frozen but they taste like they just peeled off and cooked on! Congrats to the owner and to the staff. Keep going. Thank you for the food, me and my husband can’t finish it..I will going to eat around 00:00😂🙈 very delicious 😋

Didn't come here for years but recently reintroduced and DANG so glad we were. Our fav is cod and spam fritters.... both outstanding. Chips cooked well, not floppy beige questionable bits of potato. Definitely recommend. It's worth the little drive from Toddington.

Without a doubt, these are the best chips in Houghton Regis. I moved to the area last year and often noticed this shop was always busy, which made me curious. I used to frequent a regular chip shop in Dunstable, but their quality started to decline, so I decided to give this place a try and I was blown away by how delicious their chips are. I wish I had discovered it sooner! The prices are also very reasonable, making it an even better find.

We've always had very nice food from this fish and chip shop. The service is efficient and they manage to keep up with the orders during their busy times. The only constructive criticism that I feel is needed, is that the chips need to be cooked for a bit longer, as they are quite often mushy and become stuck to the paper (I've given the food 5 stars, because I believe that with just a bit more cooking time, the food will be perfect).

Best chippy I’ve had in Herts I’d say (and I’ve had some good ones). The staff are lovely, the food is cooked to perfection each time and the prices are good. Went there yesterday (Wednesday) and it was full of people by the time we left about 6.45pm. Very popular place for good reason. The curry sauce with vinegar laden chips is divine!! No photos to attach as everyone ate it too quickly!!
